For weekend of action-filled gaming entertainment
In order for you to have a safe visit to the Event, we recommend you bring all the Essentials with you, and make sure your computer is ready for the tournament.
Packing your Gaming material
- Computer and monitor
- All required cables + RJ45 ethernet cable, at least 10m long
- Keyboard, a mouse, a mat, and headphones.
- Extension cord (power) with 2 to 3 slots.
- Pre-update drivers and OS
- If you wish, it is possible for you to bring your own gaming chair.
- Snack and drinks, if preferred.
In case of trouble connecting your devices, we will have staff to assist you. We ask you to scan your software Firewall before coming to the event, to ensure that you are not bringing any malware on your equipment. Please take actions in securing your computer – update system, antivirus software, enabled firewall.
Packing your personal items
We advise you to bring in:
- Change of clothes, preferably comfortable ones as you will be seated for several hours, and warm as during the night the temperatures normally drop.
- Sleeping gear so you can have a nice rest (Sleeping bag, pillow, mat and earplugs)
- Hygiene equipment, such as toothbrush, toothpaste, personal hygiene products, deodorant, and a bath towel.
- If you prefer, you can also pad your chair with a pillow.
- Analgesics, as headaches may strike.
- Phone charger
- Flashlight
- Only cash if any payment is necessary.
We are committed to providing you with the safest event, therefore hygiene and safety will be a priority. There will be hand sanitizer available at various locations throughout the venue. We ask if you are feeling unwell, please do not participate in the event and let us know – possibility of partial refund or total refund (?)
Event etiquette for fun Gaming atmosphere
Our main goal is to welcome you to 48 hours of an entertaining and enjoyable experience, hence be respectful of your peers. We are aware of the diverse environment we will be providing, therefore please have an open and friendly attitude towards others. Be responsible for your own property and the space provided to you.
All Finnish laws apply to Gamefest, including the copyright laws, laws on drugs, public safety laws. Do not bring any Forbidden items (eg, weapons of any kind, explosives, alcohol, illegal drugs, smoke machines and big loudspeakers); do not practice any software piracy; do not damage the event propriety; do not publicly watch disturbing materials during the event; do not photograph or record others without consent; do not endorse sales during the event; do not touch or collect other people’s material without permission.
Following these rules will allow you to have an enjoyable and safe visit. Unfortunately, if you fail to follow these rules, you will be asked to leave the event. By buying a ticket and entering the event venue, you are accepting these rules and acting according to them.
Exiting the event
To provide a safe and easy exit, when the event is finalized, please unload your equipment, check if you are leaving the space clean and if you are taking everything with you. If you need any assistance, you can ask any event member.

Jotta pääset tapahtumaan turvallisesti, suosittelemme, että otat kaikki olennaiset mukaasi ja varmistat, että tietokoneesi on valmiina turnaukseen.
Pelimateriaalien pakkaaminen
– Tietokone ja näyttö
– Kaikki tarvittavat kaapelit + RJ45 ethernet-kaapeli, vähintään 10 m pitkä
– Näppäimistö, hiiri, hiirimatto ja kuulokkeet.
– Jatkojohto (virta), jossa 2-3 paikkaa.
– Päivitä ohjaimet ja käyttöjärjestelmä etukäteen
– Halutessasi voit tuoda oman pelituolin.
– Välipaloja ja juomia, jos haluat.
Jos laitteidesi yhdistämisessä on ongelmia, meillä on henkilökuntaa, joka voi auttaa sinua. Pyydämme sinua tarkistamaan ohjelmiston palomuurin ennen tapahtumaan tuloa varmistaaksesi, ettet tuo mukanasi haittaohjelmia laitteellasi. Ole hyvä ja tee toimenpiteet tietokoneesi suojaamiseksi – järjestelmäpäivitys, virustorjuntaohjelmisto, palomuuri käytössä ja päällä.

Suosittelemme tuomaan:
- Vaihtovaatteet, mieluiten mukavat, koska istut useita tunteja, ja lämpimät, koska yöllä lämpötilat normaalisti laskevat.
- Nukkumisasut, jotta voit levätä mukavasti (makuupussi, tyyny, matto ja korvatulpat)
- Hygieniavälineet, kuten hammasharja, hammastahna, henkilökohtaiset hygieniatuotteet, deodorantti ja kylpypyyhe.
- Halutessasi voit pehmustaa tuolin myös tyynyllä.
- Kipulääkettä, sillä päänsärky voi iskeä.
- Puhelimen laturi
- Taskulamppu
- Vain käteinen, jos maksu on tarpeen.
Olemme sitoutuneet tarjoamaan sinulle turvallisimman tapahtuman, joten hygienia ja turvallisuus ovat etusijalla. Käsidesiä on saatavilla eri paikoissa tapahtumapaikan kautta. Pyydämme, jos tunnet olosi huonoksi, älä osallistu tapahtumaan ja ilmoita siitä meille – mahdollisuus osittaiseen tai kokonaiseen rahojen palautukseen (?)

Gamefestia koskevat kaikki Suomen lait, mukaan lukien tekijänoikeuslait, huumelait ja yleisen turvallisuuden lait. Älä tuo mukanasi kiellettyjä esineitä (esim. minkäänlaisia aseita, räjähteitä, alkoholia, laittomia huumeita, savukoneita ja suuria kaiuttimia); älä harjoita ohjelmistopiratismia; älä vahingoita tapahtuman asianmukaisuutta; Älä katso julkisesti häiritsevää materiaalia tapahtuman aikana; älä valokuvaa tai tallenna muita ilman lupaa; Älä harjoita myyntiä tapahtuman aikana; älä koske tai kerää muiden materiaalia ilman lupaa.

Tapahtumasta poistuminen
Turvallisen ja helpon ulospääsyn takaamiseksi tapahtuman päätyttyä pura varusteesi, tarkista jätitkö käyttämäsi tilan puhtaaksi ja otitko kaiken mukaasi. Jos tarvitset apua, voit kysyä keneltä tahansa tapahtuman jäseneltä.
